This program will allow students to obtain employment as an Electrocardiograph (EKG/ECG) Technician.

The EKG Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic tests to access the heart rhythm and rate in patients. EKGs are also performed before and after operations, during physicals examinations of patients, for patients with a history of heart disease, when patients are experiencing chest pains and when the ordering physician deems it necessary.

Full scholarships are available. Candidates must complete our application process and any prerequisites. Additionally, candidates must already be employed in a clinical medical capacity such as CNA or MA and have an offer of technician employment with the completion of this program.

After successful program completion, candidates must pay the NHA Exam Fee: $125 (payable to NHA).
